There are two international airports in Jamaica, the Norman Manley airport in Kingston and the Donald Sangster airport in Montego Bay. Both are approximately equi-distant from Villa Paradiso; however, it is recommended that you book your flights into Montego Bay. To travel from Kingston to Villa Paradiso, the traffic can be very heavy and in addition there are tolls that require payment. Many more airlines fly into Montego Bay than Kingston and therefore it is suggested that you book your airline flights to Montego Bay.

Your rental rate includes the exclusive use of our 21 passing your coach and driver for the duration of your visit. We provide the coach and driver with one complementary tank of gas and any additional gas used will be paid for by the guests. When you exit the Customs Hall, our driver, Ronnie, will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it and he will load your luggage onto the coach.

The trip from the Montego Bay airport to Villa Paradiso takes between 1 hour and 20 minutes and 1 1/2 hours. 

Before your arrival, we will send you a schedule which we would ask you to complete and return to us. It provides us with your arrival details. We also ask you to let us know if you would like us to provide provisions prior to your arrival so that our chef can cook your dinner and breakfast the next day.  You will provide us with the details of what you want, and we will open a tab for you at the supermarket and our chef will obtain all the requested items. Thereafter, you can discuss with the chef the details of the meals you would like. You might want to do your own shopping or have the chef shop on your behalf.  You pay the supermarket direct at the end of your stay.

Our chef will follow your instructions with respect to any dietary restrictions which any of the guests may have. Just let him know the details and he will cook the appropriate meals accordingly.

If you feel that you have received excellent service from the staff, then providing a gratuity will be very much appreciated by them. Usually, guests leave 10%, or more, of the rental cost and we do provide suggestions of the percentages to be paid out in our guest information manual.

Generally, it is not necessary to book activities from abroad. There are many excellent activities that you can visit, such as Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove, Mystic Mountain, Blue Lagoon, rafting on the White River and many others. Ronnie will assist you to book these events on the days that you would like to visit them. If you are interested in fishing or need to rent a boat, Ronnie can assist you with this as well.  If you want to play golf at any of the courses, it is recommended to book a tee time.

The Riu Hotel is an all-inclusive hotel and it does allow for visitors to obtain a day pass on payment of a fee. It has a water park and other facilities which can be rented such as sail boats. It has a scuba diving operation and a fee is charged to use the facility.

Villa Paradiso has a total of eight bedrooms. The main villa has three bedrooms with king beds and two bedrooms which each have three twin beds in them. There is bedroom with a king bed adjacent to the pool terrace, and a two bedroom cottage which contains a queen size bed in one room and the other bedroom has two twin beds in it.

Guests can work out their family dynamics when deciding how many bedrooms they will need. 

The villa is never rented to more than one group of guests at a time.
